Daftmill’s Cask Strength Debut

One of Scotland’s smallest distilleries, Daftmill, has unveiled its first cask strength scotch whisky, limited to just 2,400 bottles. This robust 58.7% ABV whisky boasts a rich flavor profile, with notes of vanilla essence, spiced custard, and sweet lemon candy. As a single estate farm distillery, Daftmill operates seasonally, crafting around 100 casks annually from barley cultivated on-site.

Laws Whiskey House’s Headwaters Series

In a bid to conserve Colorado’s vital rivers, Laws Whiskey House has launched its Headwaters Series, with the first release dedicated to the Colorado River. This special bourbon is made with the highest quality corn and heirloom wheat, barley, and rye from family-owned farms in Colorado. The result is a unique bourbon with flavors of orange peel, cinnamon, vanilla custard, and spice.
