The York Whisky Club Summer Festival is back for its second year, and it’s bigger and better than ever! With more exhibitors, tasting tables, and giveaways, this is an event not to be missed for all you whisky lovers out there.
The festival will take place on Saturday, 29 June at York Medical Society, running from 1 pm to 6 pm. This year’s lineup includes two distilleries, an auction house, and an amazing assortment of whiskies to share with attendees.
York Whisky Club Summer Festival
Ellers Farm Distillery, based in Stamford Bridge, will be one of the exhibitors at the festival, offering the exclusive opportunity to try the first release of their single malt English whisky, The Evolution Collection, as it nears the end of its maturing journey.
Spirit of Yorkshire, a farm-to-bottle distillery, will also be exhibiting, pouring their whisky in the venue’s Oak Panelled Room. They will also be hosting a boilermaker tasting, featuring beer-matured whisky and whisky-matured beers.
Family-run Stamford Bridge business Whiskys.co.uk will be celebrating the launch of their new whisky auction site and offering a ‘value your collection’ service at the festival. As a festival exclusive, they will also be offering a free sign-up to their auction membership to anyone who signs up on the day (usually £5).
The garden at York Medical Society will be open during the event, providing a relaxing space for festival attendees to unwind.
