Whiskey Creek Zócalo: A Celebration of Life and Spirits
As the vibrant festivities of Dia De Los Muertos approach, Whiskey Creek Zócalo is preparing to host a night filled with music, dance, and remembrance. On November 2, starting at 7:00 PM, the lodge will open its doors, inviting revelers to dance to the beats of Curtis Pink & DJ Foxwit. This free event underscores the spirit of community as attendees are encouraged to express themselves through their attire in a Costume Contest Promenade. Prizes will be awarded, adding a layer of excitement to this meaningful celebration.
Celebrate life with vibrant colors and music.
The highlight of the evening will be a sacred Activation Ceremony, featuring a Lighting Ritual around the Ofrenda where loved ones who have passed will be honored. This deep-rooted tradition not only recalls memories but also fosters camaraderie among participants who come together to share their human experience.
All proceeds from the evening will contribute toward compensating the performers, ensuring that the gift of live music continues to thrive in our community. For inquiries, patrons can reach out via email at wczocalo@gmail.com or by phone at 575-388-1266.
