The nose is a perfect balance of maritime coastal peat, sweet notes of apple, vanilla, shortbread, and crème brûlée, with a hint of leather. The palate is sweet and smoky, with custard, apple, vanilla, lemon, and ginger, and a meaty undertone reminiscent of honey-roasted ham. The finish is long and smoky, with a lasting salted caramel sweetness and a slightly drying oaky note.
