The Teeling 40-Year-Old Single Malt was distilled in 1983 and matured exclusively in an ex-Bourbon cask for over 40 years. The result is a truly unique taste experience, with a complex nose of light berry fruit compote, hints of blueberry and strawberry, honey, spearmint, candied orange zest, and light spices. The palate is warm and textured, with notes of coconut, milk chocolate, peach sorbet, honeydew melon, and tangerine. The finish is long and luxurious, with subtle spice, soft oak tannins, and honeyed sweetness.
