The Macallan Harmony Collection: A New Whisky and Glassware Collaboration with Stella McCartney
The Macallan Harmony Collection has been making waves in the whisky world with its unique flavor profiles and stunning packaging. For its third edition, the distillery has collaborated with Stella and Mary McCartney to create a truly special collection.
The New Whisky Releases
The Macallan Harmony Collection consists of two new whiskies: Amber Meadow and Green Meadow. Both are matured in a combination of sherry casks and bourbon barrels, resulting in a rich and complex flavor profile. According to whisky maker Steven Bremner, “The 100 percent natural summer evening color derived from our exceptional sherry seasoned oak and bourbon casks reflects the richness of the flavor which awaits.”

On the nose, fresh citrus fruits and honeysuckle are complemented by hints of vanilla, coconut, and ripe barley fields. On tasting, notes of oak, lemon, melon are prominent, accompanied by flavors of classic scone and almond with green tea, before giving way to a rich and sweet long finish.

But it’s not just whisky that’s part of this new collaboration. Stella and Mary McCartney have also designed a series of 11 “lifestyle pieces” that celebrate the highest quality of materials and craftsmanship. The collection includes a pair of glass tumblers, a glass water jug, ice bucket, and brass tongs, a ceramic flask, a pair of ice stamps, a set of three ceramic bowls and six coasters, a brass napkin weight and tray, a lambswool blanket, and a pair of framed photographs of The Macallan Estate taken by Mary McCartney.

“We all - The Macallan, Mary, and I - wanted to create a collection that celebrated the highest quality of materials and incredible craftsmanship that would be fitting of the shared values between us all,” said Stella McCartney in a statement. “We envisaged pieces that were limited, yet would work together as a family. The idea was to have it live in your home, stand out, and of course be of the highest quality.”
Availability
The TOGETHER Collection is now available globally, but won’t arrive in the U.S. until December. The same goes for Amber Meadow (SRP $210), but you can currently find Green Meadow (SRP $185) available to purchase at The Macallan Airport Boutiques in different countries.
