That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Cocktail Competition: A Chance to Shine

As a whisky enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for innovative ways to enjoy my favourite dram. That’s why I’m thrilled to share the exciting news about That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s new cocktail competition, Boutique-y vs. The World. This fantastic opportunity is open to mixologists of all levels, from professionals to amateurs, and even influencers. If you’re 18 or older and a UK resident, you can enter this fantastic competition.

A key ingredient in the cocktails

The competition’s grand prize is a chance to bottle your own whisky, with the guidance of Head of Whisky Sam Simmons. You’ll even get to design the label and receive the first bottling of your very own whisky. The remaining bottles will be sold via Master of Malt, giving you the ultimate bragging rights.

So, how does it work? Each entrant will receive That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Canadian Corn Whisky as the base for their cocktail. You’ll then have the freedom to add four additional ingredients to craft the perfect cocktail. The company’s clever nod to the moose on the label of the Canadian Corn Whisky is a nice touch – you’ll get five ingredients to play with, just like the five letters in the word MOOSE.

Judges will score each cocktail based on drinkability, creativity, and garnish, as well as the name and story behind the cocktail. Don’t worry, you won’t need to don Canadian fancy dress, but you’ll certainly earn the respect of the That Boutique-y Whisky Company team.

Shortlisted entrants will be invited to live heats in Edinburgh, Birmingham, and London between 17th-19th June. Expect celebrations, tasty whisky, and new friendships. The heat winners will then head to Manchester (or the “Canada of the British Isles,” as That Boutique-y Whisky Company calls it) for the live finals on July 4th.
