National Bourbon Day: Celebrating America’s Iconic Spirit
As National Bourbon Day arrives, bourbon makers are gearing up to showcase their finest creations. Among them is Lost Lantern, a bottler that takes bourbons from across the U.S. and blends or bottles them to share in releases. This year, Lost Lantern is launching its second “Summer of Bourbon” series, featuring nine whiskeys from twelve states.
“Summer of Bourbon II shines a light on the true variety and depth that great bourbon can have,” said Adam Polonski, co-founder of Lost Lantern.
The collection includes several firsts for Lost Lantern, including their first Tennessee whiskey, first finished bourbon, and first bourbon from a closed distillery. The range also features seven single cask releases and a single distillery release, with distilleries hailing from Indiana, Mississippi, New York, West Virginia, and beyond.

One of the highlights of the collection is Far-Flung Bourbon II, a blend that brings together bourbons from the north and south of the U.S. Another standout is the Boulder Spirits Armagnac Finished Colorado Straight Bourbon Single Cask, the brand’s first finished bourbon.

The first part of the collection will be released on June 20, with the blends going on sale, followed by the second part on July 11, when the single casks will be available.
