Buffalo Trace Distillery has announced the release of Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. Barrel Proof Rye Whiskey, a new uncut and unfiltered rye recipe joining the Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. Collection. Brora Comes Of Age

Three years since Brora’s doors reopened, and spirit began to flow from its stills once more, the slumbering casks in the distillery’s warehouse now officially contain scotch whisky rather than new-make spirit. To celebrate this milestone, Brora Distillery has released the Brora 44 Year Old Untold Depths, a distillery exclusive bottling that pays tribute to Brora’s past and looks to the future.

Australian Wine Releases

In other news, Château Tanunda has released its 2024 collection, featuring 12 unique expressions of the Barossa valley. The new range includes the 150 Year Old Vines Grenache 2019, a wine of remarkable distinction that perfectly embodies the heritage and commitment to excellence of Château Tanunda.

Old Fat Unicorn has also announced two new products to its line-up, both of which have been aged in former whisky barrels prior to bottling. The use of whisky barrels for at least 25% of the blend imparts distinctive notes of vanilla and caramel to the final wines.

Taylors Wines has launched a new collection of premium South Australian wines in bottles designed with deliberate fashion appeal. The Aromantiques collection includes a GSM, Rosé, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris, all made with a focus on aromatic intensity and sensory appeal.
