Maker’s Mark Unveils Exclusive Singapore Edition Bourbon

Maker’s Mark, the renowned bourbon brand, has just released a new, limited-edition whiskey as part of its Wood Finishing City Series. This exclusive bourbon is only available in Singapore, and whiskey enthusiasts will need to travel to the city-state to get their hands on a bottle.

A Taste of Singapore in a Bottle

The Singapore Edition is the fourth release in the Wood Finishing City Series, following previous releases in New York, Sydney, and Frankfurt. This special edition was created in collaboration with chef Willin Low and Jigger and Pony bar director Aki Eguchi, who carefully selected the combination of staves used to finish the whiskey. The result is a unique blend of flavors reminiscent of Singapore’s lush tropical paradise.

A Delightful Burst of Exotic Fruitiness

According to Eguchi, “aromatic notes of pineapple and mango create a delightful burst of exotic fruitiness.” To add depth and complexity, the whiskey is balanced with a subtle touch of warming spices, including nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon. This harmonious fusion of flavors celebrates the spirit of Singapore.

Bottled at 54.9% ABV

The Singapore Edition is bottled at 54.9% ABV and is limited to just 720 bottles, available exclusively at Lotte Duty Free at Singapore’s Changi Airport in terminal four. To celebrate the launch, there will be an activation through February 29, featuring a tasting bar and a free tote bag with every purchase.

What’s Next for the City Series?

While details are scarce, Maker’s Mark has hinted at another City Series release later this year, but the location remains a mystery. Whiskey enthusiasts will have to stay tuned for more information.
