Crafting the Blend
Located at Chattanooga Whiskey’s Riverfront Distillery, the Solera Room houses three distinct custom charred oak solera barrels. Each year, Piersant meticulously assesses the whiskey in these barrels, experimenting with different blends to showcase the best of each recipe. This meticulous process results in a blend that evolves annually, offering a one-of-a-kind flavor profile that cannot be replicated.
The Components

1816 (12%): Reflecting the brand’s ‘Past’, this barrel holds Chattanooga Whiskey’s original founding recipe, a traditional high rye bourbon aged between four and six years. It imparts a classic woody, lightly spicy character to the blend.

Barrel 91 (60%): Symbolizing the brand’s ‘Present’, this barrel contains Chattanooga Whiskey’s signature Tennessee High Malt recipe. Developed over two years of experimentation, this blend of specialty roasted and toasted malted grains brings richness and depth to the whiskey.

Infinity Barrel (28%): Representing the brand’s ‘Future’, this barrel features an innovative blend of malt and rye malt whiskeys from both the Experimental and Riverfront Distilleries. With a mix of new mash bills, including cherrywood smoked ‘Danko’ rye malt whiskey, this blend offers a dynamic array of flavors.
Availability
The Founder’s 12th Anniversary Blend will debut at the Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery on April 26, 2024. Shortly after, it will hit shelves in select states including AL, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, SC, TN, TX, and WI, priced at $59.99 for a 750ml bottle.
