The Speyside-based distillery has just announced three new expressions in its contemporary cask finish collection, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.

The three new expressions - Tomintoul Amarone Wine Cask Finish, Tomintoul Madeira Cask Finish, and Tomintoul Tempranillo Wine Cask Finish - are all bottled at 40% ABV and have been matured in exceptional American oak ex-bourbon casks. But what really sets them apart is the finishing process. Each expression has been finished in carefully selected wine barrels sourced from Italy, Portugal’s Madeira Islands, and Spain.
